Bishkek, July 20, 26 /Kabar/. During a working visit to the Issyk-Kul region, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers inspected the construction of two bridges across the Sary-Jaz River in Ak-Suu district of Issyk-Kul region.
As part of the project, the Zaynulin and Ak-Unkur bridges are under construction.
The Zaynulin bridge is 76.13 meters long, with an outer width of 5.8 meters and an inner width of 4.54 meters. The structure rests on three supports and is constructed using metal structures with a total length of 64.2 meters. The project also includes the construction of access and exit roads.
Construction of Zainulin Bridge is currently complete, and landscaping and site planning are underway.
Ak-Unkur Bridge, 143.26 meters long, has an outer structure width of 5.8 meters and an inner structure width of 4.54 meters. The structure is being erected on five piers using metal structures 131.06 meters long. The project includes the construction of access roads. Completion of construction work on the Ak-Unkur Bridge is scheduled for August 1, 2026, in accordance with contractual obligations. Construction of protective structures to ensure the reliability and durability of the structures is also currently underway.
Furthermore, the design and estimate documentation has been adapted to comply with the building codes and requirements of Kyrgyz Republic and has been submitted to the relevant authorities for an architectural and urban planning opinion. The chairman noted the importance of timely completion of construction work and ensuring the quality of the facilities, emphasizing the need for further infrastructure development in the country's regions.
The development of transport infrastructure in the Sary-Zhaz area creates conditions for the efficient use of over 180,000 hectares of pastureland.
