Bishkek, June 11, 2026 /Kabar/. Courts of first instance in Kyrgyzstan have switched to electronic notifications. Judge Nuraim Kenjetaeva of Sokuluk district court of Chui region told at press conference in Kabar news agency.

According to her, trial participants receive notifications of the date, time, and location of the hearing via SMS to their mobile phone or email, if available. Citizens are required to provide current and reliable contact information when applying to the court. This will allow for prompt information entry, timely notification, and avoidance of unnecessary visits to court offices.

"This system has been implemented in 64 courts of first instance across Kyrgyzstan. Electronic notifications are sent from the sot.kg address. In May 2026, over 10,000 SMS notifications were sent through this system. These contain only brief information: the name of the court, the date, time, and location of the hearing. The SMS messages do not contain any links to click. If they ask for a card code, it is a fraudulent attempt. We ask you to beware of such messages," she emphasized.

This service also provides an automatic reminder before the court hearing.
