Bishkek, Jan.29, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Meder Abakirov held a meeting with new Ambassador of Finland to Kyrgyzstan with residence in Astana Janne Heiskanen.
During the meeting, the ambassador presented copies of credentials to the deputy foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said.
The sides discussed the development of Kyrgyz-Finnish relations, including the organization of mutual visits, strengthening trade and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation within international organizations.
In particular, Janne Heiskanen was informed about the interest in cooperation in the sphere of information technologies, green energy and tourism.
Meder Abakirov expressed readiness to provide all-round support to the Finnish ambassador in fulfillment of his diplomatic mission for the benefit of development of bilateral relations.
