Kyrgyz deputy FM receives copies of credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of India

Bishkek, Jan. 27, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Temirbek Erkinov received on Friday the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kyrgyz Republic Birender Singh Yadav, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.

Congratulating the Ambassador with the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan, T. Erkinov expressed confidence that his work would contribute to further strengthening the strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of India, and assured the Ambassador of the Ministry’s readiness to provide full support in this regard.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of enhancing the dynamics of mutual visits at high and highest levels. Special attention was given to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, pharmaceuticals, mining, information and communication technologies, and banking services.

The sides also highlighted the importance of implementing social projects in Kyrgyzstan under the Memorandum of Grant Assistance signed in 2021, aimed at developing social infrastructure and improving the quality of life of the population.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, including through the activation of business-to-business cooperation between the two countries.
