Bishkek, Sept. 14, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, September 14, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion focused on pressing issues regarding practical cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
Particular attention was paid to the further development and intensification of trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
The Afghan side congratulated Kyrgyzstan on the successful hosting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the 6th World Nomad Games, as well as on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
