Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. As part of his official visit to Ghana, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the President of Ghana on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov.

Jeenbek Kulubaev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan views Ghana as a reliable partner on the African continent and is interested in developing a full-fledged political dialogue, trade, investment, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as interregional interaction.

President John Dramani Mahama praised the intensification of bilateral dialogue and emphasized the importance of upcoming political consultations. He also expressed interest in developing a trade and investment partnership with Kyrgyzstan, noting the importance of reciprocal visits for further strengthening bilateral relations.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to provide mutual support for the initiatives of the two countries, including at multilateral forums.
