Today, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev held a meeting with national coordinators of the SCO member states, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The foreign minister emphasized the special significance of the meeting of the National Coordinators of the organization being held within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the SCO.
The minister emphasized that the upcoming summit of the Council of Heads of State should be an important stage in the development of the organization, strengthening mutual trust, good-neighborly relations and multifaceted cooperation. The fact that the upcoming meeting of leaders is taking place in the anniversary year of the organization is of particular importance to him.
The minister also thanked the national coordinators for their active work, constructive interaction and personal contribution to the preparation of the substantive part of the summit.
He said that it is at the level of the National Coordinators' Council that large-scale joint work on agreeing on documents and developing decisions that will determine the directions of the SCO's further activities will be carried out.
At the end of the meeting, Jeenbek Kulubaev wished the coordinators fruitful work and expressed his confidence that the summit would once again confirm the unity of the states in the SCO space and their common readiness to strengthen peace, stability and sustainable development.
