Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. On January 27 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues related to further strengthening cooperation within the Organization, as well as deepening mutual ties between Member States.
Secretary General Omuraliev informed the Minister about the results of the activities of the OTS Secretariat for 2024, as well as work plans for the current period.
Minister Kulubaev noted the importance of implementing the Bishkek Declaration, as well as the priorities of the current chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan in the OTS. Particular attention was paid to the upcoming events in connection with the Chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the OTS in 2025.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue active work within the OTS and take further steps to implement the planned initiatives.
