Bishkek, July 14, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev received the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan Altamash Wazir Khan.
According to the department, during the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the results of the official visit of Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari to Kyrgyzstan on July 6-7.
It was noted that this visit gave additional impetus to the further development of Kyrgyz-Pakistani relations and contributed to the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit, as well as preparations for the upcoming events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), including coordination of the interaction of foreign policy departments.
Kulubaev noted that he expects the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member states.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the Kyrgyz-Pakistani partnership, continuing regular political dialogue, and intensifying cooperation in a bilateral format, as well as within the framework of international organizations.
