Kyrgyz FM receives outgoing Kazakh ambassador

Bishkek, July 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Today, July 15, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev received Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Rapil Zhoshybayev, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

According to the press service of foreign ministry, during the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the implementation of agreements reached at the level of the heads of state, government, and foreign affairs agencies of the two countries.

Representatives of the two countries reaffirmed their strong interest in further deepening multifaceted cooperation in the spirit of good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance, and discussed relevant agenda items, including the schedule of upcoming high-level visits.

Jeenbek Kulubaev praised Ambassador Rapil Zhoshybayev's work in Kyrgyzstan, noting the diplomat's significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations.

Ambassador Rapil Zhoshybayev congratulated Kyrgyzstan on its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027–2028. In turn, the head of Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Ministry expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for its active support during the election campaign and on election day, emphasizing that this election is a significant achievement not only for Kyrgyzstan but for the entire Central Asian region.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the minister awarded the ambassador the departmental medal "For Strengthening International Cooperation" for his significant personal contribution to the development of friendly and good-neighborly relations between the two countries. The minister thanked the diplomat for his productive work and wished him continued success in his professional endeavors.
