Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Health Kanybek Dosmambetov spoke about a number of problems in the sector at a meeting on the results of 2025. According to him, the healthcare system is facing problems such as aging infrastructure, administrative overload and staff turnover, but has significant professional potential.
"The strategic goal is to create a manageable, modern and sustainable healthcare system based on disease prevention, clinical management and accountability for results. The sector must move from responding to problems to preventing them, and the system must work equally effectively both in the center and in the regions," he said.
Minister also separately touched on the issue of personnel and outlined the measures being taken to strengthen capacity:
- increase wages;
- create conditions for providing housing;
- support for doctors in the regions;
- develop international training programs;
Return of specialists working abroad.
