Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2026 /Kabar/. At a meeting of the Parliament’s Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs and Social Issues, deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva raised the need to create a unified electronic database of children with autism.

She noted that parents of such children complain about the lack of rehabilitation centers, and their number is very small.

"Such centers exist only in Bishkek. Prices in private centers are very high, an hour of stay costs 3000 soms. At least there should be such facilities on the basis of regional centers. Families are leaving everything and moving to Bishkek to get their children treated. Rehabilitation centers are a great support, the earlier it starts, the more opportunities there are for the child to become a full-fledged member of society," the deputy emphasized.

Sadyrbaeva also raised the issue of providing dental services to such children.

She also stressed the need to strengthen the training of personnel. “There are not enough defectologists, speech therapists and psychologists to work with such children, because this is a difficult job, they need to be stimulated," she said.
