Kyrgyz parliamentary delegation arrives in Russia

Bishkek, March 26, 2026 /Kabar/. Speaker of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Marlen Mamataliev, with parliamentary delegation, arrived in the Russian Federation on official visit.

According to parliament's press service, delegation was met at the airport by State Duma Deputy Speaker Anna Kuznetsova and other officials. The delegation included deputies Talant Mamytov, Gulnara Baatyrova, Gulya Kozhokulova, Gulnara Akimbaeva, Zhumabek Salymbekov, Aigul Akhmedova, and Zhyldyz Egenberdieva, as well as Nursultan Kubanov, First Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Batma Topoeva-Stavinskaya, Director of the Kyrgyztest State Institution.

During the visit, the delegation was provided with information on the testing procedure for migrant children for admission to general education classes.

The deputies noted the complexity of the tasks and made suggestions for their possible simplification. Meeting participants also took the test in person to assess its content and difficulty level.

"Access to education for the children of our compatriots abroad is a priority. It is important that testing conditions are clear, fair, and take into account the needs of children arriving from different linguistic environments," noted Speaker Marlen Mamataliev.

Furthermore, the speaker and members of the delegation met with representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora and labor migrants at the Exhibition and Trade Center of the Kyrgyz Republic (VDNKh). During the open dialogue, pressing issues of concern to our compatriots were raised. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic received clarifications and answers on most of these issues.

A number of high-level meetings are planned during the speaker's visit to Moscow, including bilateral talks with Vyacheslav Volodin, Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the Federation Council.
