Bishkek, Aug.19, 2026. /Kabar/. The Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic and the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture (SFAC) signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing cooperation in the arts and culture sector.

The signing ceremony took place on August 19. The document was signed by Kyrgyzbai Osmonov, Director General of the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic, and Son Hyun-jeong, Director General of the SFAC.

The event was attended by Member of Jogorku Kenesh Rakhat Zhunushbaeva, SFAC External Relations Advisor Aisulu Ashyralieva, Department Head Kim Son-hyun, and Team Leader Ahn Mi-yeon.

The memorandum aims to strengthen cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Korea, expand the exchange of experiences, and implement joint creative projects.

The document provides for the organization of joint cultural, theatrical, musical, and educational projects, the exchange of experience between creative professionals, and the holding of master classes, forums, seminars, and other cultural events.

Furthermore, the parties intend to develop ties between creative groups and artists, jointly implement cultural projects, and support new creative initiatives.
