Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2026. /Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Defense of Kyrgyz Republic Taalaibek Sharsheev met with Defense Attaché at the Russian Embassy, Igor Dovbnya.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the meeting was held to mark the conclusion of Igor Dovbnya’s military-diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan. During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation in the military sphere, and reviewed the results of the colonel’s work during his tenure in the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is noted that Igor Dovbnya was awarded the "For Strengthening Cooperation" medal for his significant personal contribution to the strengthening and development of military cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
