Bishkek, Sept. 3, 2025 /Kabar/. At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu today speaking at the Parliament drew attention to the fact that the renovated meeting hall of the parliament is equipped with modern equipment and thanked the government of Korea.
“On behalf of the Jogorku Kenesh, let me express gratitude to the government of the Republic of Korea, in particular the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), for grant assistance, the purchase and installation of equipment,” he said.
In 2023, during the working visit of Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu to the Republic of Korea, an agreement on the digitalization of the work of parliament was signed between the Jogorku Kenesh and KOICA in the amount of 8 million 400 thousand US dollars.
This year, the project has been fully implemented, the legislative body is equipped with all the necessary modern equipment.
