Bishkek, July 23, 2026. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan commented on information circulating in the media and social media regarding the situation with Kyrgyz citizens who arrived in the Federal Republic of Germany under Samara Academy programs.
The ministry reported that the Kyrgyz Embassy in Germany clarifies all the circumstances of the incident.
The ministry noted that the necessary measures are being taken to provide citizens with consular and legal assistance to protect their rights and legitimate interests.
For information, recent posts on social media and in several media outlets says that approximately 150 Kyrgyz citizens who arrived in Germany under the Ferienjob summer employment program through Samara Academy had encountered employment and accommodation issues. Samara Academy stated that some of the disseminated information was untrue, noting that students continue to work and that they search new positions for those who are unemployed.
