Bishkek, April 8, 2026. /Kabar/. Asian Wrestling Championship continue in Bishkek. Today, on the third day of competition, the women's competition began, with two titled Kyrgyzstanis advancing to the semifinals.

Aiperi Medet kyzy, competing in the 76 kg weight class, faced a representative from China in the quarterfinals. The Kyrgyzstani won a convincing victory, pinning her opponent.

Meerim Zhumanazarova, representing Kyrgyzstan in the 68 kg weight class, also successfully made it through the quarterfinals. Against an athlete from Vietnam, Zhumanazarova demonstrated complete dominance, finishing the bout with a crushing 11-0 victory.
