Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2025. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz women's freestyle wrestling team returned home on Monday from Serbia, where the World U23 Championships were held.
According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, the athletes were met at Manas International Airport by Kazybek Moldaziyev, Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports; Melis Tobokelov, Head of the Agency's Olympic Sports Directorate; and the wrestlers' families and friends.
Nurzat Nurtayeva became world champion in the 72 kg weight class, and Gulnura Tashtanbekova won bronze in the 68 kg weight class.
