Bishkek, July 6, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports Bolotbek Ashyraliev met with the athletes who won prizes at the Asian U20 Wrestling Championships.
According to the agency, the Asian Championships were held from June 27 to July 5 in Pattaya, Thailand. The wrestlers of the Kyrgyzstan national team successfully competed, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Gold medal winners:
Aykham Abdirasulov — 60 kg (Greco-Roman wrestling);
Isa Shavkhatbekov — 65 kg (freestyle wrestling);
Yrysbek Khamdamov — 72 kg (Greco-Roman wrestling);
Muslim Mamyrov — 82 kg (Greco-Roman wrestling).
Silver medal winner:
Myrzakadyr Kulmamatov — 67 kg (Greco-Roman wrestling).
Bronze medal winners:
Aydemi Asangazieva — 53 kg (women's wrestling);
Asel Japarova — 65 kg (women's wrestling);
Adil Tabyldiev — 70 kg (freestyle wrestling);
Erzhan Akylbek uulu — 77 kg (Greco-Roman wrestling);
Raatbek Payazbekov — 82 kg (Greco-Roman wrestling);
Alisher Oskonbaev — 130 kg (Greco-Roman wrestling).
During the meeting, Bolotbek Ashyraliev congratulated the athletes and their coaches on their successful performance at the Asian Championships. He noted that these achievements significantly contribute to the development of wrestling in Kyrgyzstan and serve as a great incentive for the younger generation of athletes.
