Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan agreed to increase trade turnover

Bishkek, Dec. 25, 2025 /Kabar/. On December 24, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Meder Tumanov met with the Trade Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Central Asia, Samad Hasanov, Ministry of Economy reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached at the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan, held on December 8, 2025, in Baku.

Following the talks, the parties identified further steps to develop bilateral cooperation, including increasing trade turnover, expanding industrial cooperation, and intensifying the activities of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund.
