Bishkek, July 31, 2026. /Kabar/. As part of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Kyrgyzstan, a signing and exchange ceremony for bilateral documents aimed at further strengthening Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation in transport and logistics, energy, investment, digital, financial, humanitarian, and other areas took place today, July 31.
The heads of state signed the Treaty on Alliance Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan and the decision of the Interstate Council of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The sides signed following documents:
- Agreement on International Automobile Transport between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Roadmap for Energy Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2027;
- Roadmap for the implementation of the Cooperation Program between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024-2029;
- Second Supplementary Agreement on Amendments to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Establishment of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund dated October 11, 2022;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Cooperation in Freight Transportation, Shipping, and Shipbuilding;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Statistics between the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cybersecurity between the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Cooperation and Sister City Relations between Osh, Kyrgyz Republic, and Ganja, Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Cooperation and the Establishment of Sister City Relations between Karakol, Azerbaijan, and Gabala, Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic, and Shusha, Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Supply of Oil and Petroleum Products between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Interaction between Kyrgyzaltyn Open Joint-Stock Company and AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company.
