Bishkek, Sept. 18, 2026 /Kabar/. Arslan Koichiev, State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a meeting with Shen Haixiong, President and Editor-in-Chief of China Media Group.
According to the Presidential Administration, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Economy Forum, held in Urumqi city of China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed further expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China in the information, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
The parties noted the importance of implementing media projects aimed at broadly promoting the historical and cultural heritage of both countries, including the potential for developing and producing joint film projects.
