Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. On October 1, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev held political consultations with Ghanaian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Samuel Okudzeta Ablakwa.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the consultations took place during Jeenbek Kulubaev's return official visit to Ghana and were the first in the history of bilateral relations at the level of foreign ministers.

The parties discussed key areas for future cooperation and the international agenda. Particular attention was paid to strengthening political dialogue, developing trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties, and scheduling upcoming bilateral visits.

Following the talks, the foreign ministers signed a package of documents aimed at expanding the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.

The ministers also made concluding statements for the media.
