Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania outline new areas of cooperation

Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania discussed promising areas of trade and economic cooperation during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Sultan Akhmatov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kristupas Vaitiekūnas.

According to the ministry, the parties discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation, including in port infrastructure, the jewelry industry, agriculture, information technology, and the financial sector.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working in these areas to further expand trade and economic cooperation.
