Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and the state of Montana of the United States of America, intend to expand cooperation in the areas of youth policy, education, sports, culture, art, and cinematography, the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
On September 16, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Aibek Daiyrbekov met with a delegation from the Montana National Guard, led by Adjutant General Brigadier General T. Gibson, at the National History Museum.
Representatives from Montana discussed initiatives and educational programs aimed at supporting youth development. The parties expressed interest in expanding the exchange of experiences in working with youth, as well as implementing sports and other youth programs.
Furthermore, the possibility of holding Montana Culture Days and Film Days in Kyrgyzstan, as well as organizing reciprocal events dedicated to Kyrgyz culture in Montana, was discussed.
It is noted that the implementation of such initiatives will contribute to strengthening cultural ties and the exchange of experiences between creative groups and youth.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their willingness to continue cooperation in the identified areas and implement joint initiatives.
