Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2025 /Kabar/. Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Asanaliev held a working meeting with Prosecutor General of Qatar Issa bin Saad Al-Jafali Al-Nuaimi in Doha.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in criminal law, combating corruption, and transnational crime. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for concluding bilateral interstate treaties on extradition, the transfer of convicted persons, and mutual legal assistance in criminal cases.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing practical cooperation between the prosecutorial authorities of the two countries.
