Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) discussed new areas of cooperation and opportunities for joint projects. This became known on September 28 following a meeting between Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov and TIKA President Abdullah Eren.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in industry, energy, transport and logistics, organic agriculture, the green economy, human capital development, and support for small and medium-sized businesses.
Bakyt Sydykov noted that Kyrgyzstan's economy has grown by an average of 10.2% in recent years, creating opportunities for new joint projects.
Abdullah Eren emphasized TIKA's interest in continuing to support projects aimed at Kyrgyzstan's development.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation in promising and mutually beneficial areas.
