Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2026. /Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Zhenish Seidaliev met with the UK Trade Representative for Azerbaijan and Central Asia, John Alderdice, a member of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament.
According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further development of Kyrgyz-British cooperation, including issues of critical mineral resources, attracting investment, geological exploration of promising sites, and the implementation of modern technologies.
Particular attention was paid to environmental safety and sustainable development, as well as improving the quality of geological data, developing competencies, and training qualified specialists.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue technical consultations and practical cooperation on promising projects, as well as to facilitate the further development of the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the UK in the field of critical mineral resources.
