Bishkek, April 24, 2026. /Kabar/. From April 21 to 23, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam successfully completed negotiations in Hanoi to agree on a draft Agreement on the Elimination of Double Taxation.
According to the economy ministry, the document will allow entrepreneurs to avoid duplicate tax payments on the same income, protect them from discrimination in foreign markets, and create a transparent system for data exchange between the tax authorities of the two countries.
Implementation of this agreement is aimed at eliminating barriers to business and significantly strengthening economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam.
It is noted that the first round of negotiations took place in Bishkek in 2023.
