Bishkek, Dec. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) approved Gulzat Isamatova's candidacy for the position of Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation at plenary session.

During the discussion, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev noted the need to abolish fees for students missing classes at universities.

Deputy Ilimbek Kubanychbekov drew attention to the quality of education provided at the republic's universities and the procedure for transferring students from one university to another.

Deputy Dastanbek Dzhumabekov emphasized that educational standards at universities must be revised to reflect modern realities.

Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova emphasized the need to utilize the scientific potential of the National Academy of Sciences in various areas of government activity.
