Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan to expand cooperation in digital technology

Bishkek, July 30, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of National Investment Agency Damirbek Bikulov held a meeting with representatives of the Azerbaijani company GEO TOTAL, which was also attended by representatives of relevant ministries and government agencies.

According to the agency, the meeting presented modern engineering and digital solutions in the fields of geodesy, geographic information systems (GIS), digital mapping, LiDAR laser scanning, unmanned technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Participants were introduced to the potential applications of these technologies in the design, construction, and monitoring of transport and urban infrastructure.

Particular attention was paid to the use of digital tools for conducting engineering surveys, creating digital territorial models, land management, maintaining a digital cadastre, and monitoring the condition of infrastructure facilities.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in further developing cooperation, exchanging experiences, and implementing joint initiatives to introduce modern digital solutions into infrastructure projects in Kyrgyz Republic.
