Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. From November 17 to November 20, a delegation of the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan visited Azerbaijan to study the implementation of modern digital solutions in customs administration.
As reported by the department, during the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the electronic customs declaration system, risk management system, payment gateway, cybersecurity mechanisms and the system for distributing incoming declarations in the customs authorities of Azerbaijan. Particular attention was paid to the interaction of national "Single Window" systems. Representatives of the "Single Window" systems of the two countries also discussed practical steps for integrating digital tools into the customs clearance process.
As a result of the visit, they agreed on the preparation and signing of a protocol and technical specifications for the exchange of information between the customs services of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. The parties also confirmed their intention to organize the exchange of certificates between the "Single Window" systems of the two countries in electronic form.
The results of the working visit will be an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation, developing digital solutions, and improving the efficiency of customs administration.
