Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus has almost doubled over the past three years, from 117 million US dollars in 2023 to 206.5 million US dollars in 2025, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev told during a bilateral meeting with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov.
In his speech, the minister particularly emphasized the fact that exports of domestic products to Belarus increased by 35%.
As reported, along with trade and economic relations, the contractual and legal framework of the two countries is also being strengthened. Over the past two years alone, 27 bilateral documents covering various sectors have been signed at the government level. Jeenbek Kulubaev noted that in recent years, cooperation in areas of mutual interest has developed dynamically and has acquired a systematic character.
During the meeting, Kulubaev noted that this visit will give new impetus to deepening the partnership.
“Today’s meeting will be an excellent opportunity for us to exchange views on the main areas of interaction and outline the prospects for further strengthening Kyrgyz-Belarusian relations,” said Jeenbek Kulubaev.
