Kyrgyzstan boxing team to participate in World Cup in Brazil

Bishkek, April 20, 2026. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyzstan boxing team will participate in the first stage of the 2026 World Cup, which is to be held from April 20 to 26 in Brazil, the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

According to the agency, 400 of the strongest boxers from 50 different countries are expected to participate.

The national team included five athletes competing in various weight categories at the international tournament:

Anvar Khodjiev (up to 50 kg),

Zafarbek Kamilov (up to 55 kg),

Munarbek Seyitbek uulu (up to 60 kg),

Omar Livaza (up to 65 kg),

Ikhtiyar Nishonov (up to 70 kg).

The team's training is led by a coaching staff led by head coach Daniyar Tologon uulu and senior coach Ulan Sagynbaev.
