Bishkek, Aug 6, 2026 /Kabar/. The agricultural harvest continues in Kyrgyzstan. To date, crops have been harvested from a total area of 261,000 hectares.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, 139,000 hectares of wheat, 121,000 hectares of barley, 770 hectares of corn, and 200 hectares of legumes have been harvested.
Among the regions, Chui oblast is demonstrating the best harvest performance, with 50.8% of the planned harvest (140,100 hectares) completed.
In Osh oblast, 527,000 hectares have been harvested, representing 56.8% of the planned harvest. In Jalal-Abad oblast, the plan is 52.9% fulfilled, and in Talas oblast, 10.9%.
Harvesting continues in Issyk-Kul and Naryn oblasts.
