Bishkek, Aug. 21, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev held a regular meeting on issues of supplying the country's domestic market with fuel and lubricants.
During the meeting, the deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as the heads of relevant government agencies and departments, presented information on the current situation in the oil market in Central Asian countries.
Following the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev instructed the authorities to ensure an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products to the country, strengthen monitoring of the situation, intensify cooperation with each company operating in the petroleum products market, conclude new import agreements, address logistics issues at the state border, and take necessary measures in a timely manner.
To ensure the market's supply of petroleum products, the Kyrgyz Republic cooperates with the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the People's Republic of China, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Kyrgyzstan's total annual demand for petroleum products averages over 1.5 million tons.
