Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2025 /Kabar/. In honor of the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan, the national project "40 tourist sites in 40 districts of the country" continues to be implemented in the regions of the country.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the project is being implemented in accordance with the protocol instruction of the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev.
This year, the project covers 63 tourist sites, including:
tourist information centers,
camping sites,
observation decks,
museums,
recreation areas.
According to the Department of Tourism, 41 sites have already been commissioned to date, and another 22 are in the process of being prepared for opening.
The aim of the project is sustainable development of tourism in all regions of the country, creation of new jobs, support of small and medium businesses, preservation of cultural and natural heritage, attracting investment in the tourism sector.
