The country maintains high rates of socioeconomic development, driven by growth in domestic production, investment, and consumer demand, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Choro Seyitov informs at board meeting attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev.
According to the First Deputy Minister, Kyrgyzstan's overall socioeconomic development by the end of 2025 demonstrates continued sustainable and intensive economic growth, as well as the high rates achieved in 2024.
The strong performance in key economic sectors is due to the expansion of domestic production, increased investment, and rising consumer demand, supported by rising household incomes.
Cabinet of Ministers' systematic efforts to stimulate economic activity, support strategic sectors, modernize infrastructure, and improve the investment climate and competitive environment have ensured stable economic development.
According to preliminary data from the National Statistical Committee, the gross domestic product (GDP) for January-December 2025 amounted to 1,976.4 billion soms, with a real growth rate of 111.1% (111.5% in 2024).
Positive dynamics were also observed across all sectors of the economy. For example, production volumes in construction increased by 21.1%, in services by 10.9%, in industry by 10.7%, and in agriculture by 2.2%.
As a result of these trends, the share of goods-producing industries in nominal GDP amounted to 34.4%, while the share of the service sector amounted to 51.2%.
