Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2025. /Kabar/. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has signed a decree according to which some changes have been made to the structure of the Cabinet of Ministers in order to improve the efficiency of the executive authorities.
The press service of the President said that given the importance of effective development of the spheres of architecture, construction, housing and public utilities, taking into account their interconnection with other spheres of the economy, a decision was made to establish the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Public Utilities on the basis of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Public Utilities under the Cabinet of Ministers.
In addition, in order to increase the role of development of the sphere of physical culture and sports, a decision was made to establish the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers on the basis of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy.
The creation of an independent state body on physical culture and sports will allow the concentration of powers and resources for the effective development of this sphere, ensure the continuity of programs, the development of sports infrastructure, and also ensure the proper international representation of the country's interests in this sphere.
