Kyrgyzstan expands cooperation with Aga Khan Trust in cultural shere

Bishkek, Oct. 1, 2026. /Kabar/. On September 30, Mirbek Mambetaliev, the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, met with Luis Monreal, Director General of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.

According to the ministry, the parties discussed expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation, implementing joint projects, and developing national art.

Particular attention was paid to supporting the creative potential of youth, assessing the condition of Kyrgyzstan's historical and architectural heritage, and continuing cooperation on its preservation.

Luis Monreal expressed readiness to provide methodological and expert support for the development and implementation of joint initiatives.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their intention to continue cooperation in the preservation, development, and international promotion of cultural heritage.
