Bishkek, April 22, 2025. /Kabar/. In the first three months of 2025, 8,812,800 eggs were exported from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of Agriculture said that in the first three months of this year, egg imports to the republic were not recorded, while in 2024 the volume of imports was 10,760,760 pieces, which indicates a decrease in dependence on external supplies and an increase in domestic production.
For the purposes of state support, the import of feed and feed additives for livestock and poultry is exempt from value added tax (VAT).
In addition, 2,261,480 hatching eggs were imported into the country in the first three months of 2025. The main supplier countries were Turkey, Uzbekistan, Russia, France and Denmark.
The growth in exports and the decrease in imports of chicken eggs confirm the positive dynamics of the development of the poultry industry in Kyrgyzstan.
