Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan imposes a temporary ban on the export of catalytic converters for six months.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution, a temporary ban for six months is being imposed on the export of used catalytic converters, waste, and scrap containing palladium, rhodium, and platinum, as well as mufflers and exhaust pipes with catalytic converters and their parts.
State Customs Service, the State Tax Service, and the State Border Service must take the necessary measures to prevent the illegal export of the above-mentioned goods.
This resolution shall enter into force seven days after its official publication.
