Bishkek, Oct 2.2025 /Kabar/. On October 1, Ravshanbek Sabirov, Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with representatives of Nagoya Railroad Co Ltd., one of Japan's leading transportation companies.
According to the agency, Takashi Ando, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nagoya Railroad Co Ltd., headed the Japanese delegation.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, government support measures, and mechanisms for protecting foreign investment. Particular attention was paid to prospects for cooperation in transport infrastructure, which plays a key role in developing regional connectivity and expanding the country's transit capabilities. The Japanese side expressed interest in exploring opportunities to participate in projects aimed at modernizing transport corridors and increasing Kyrgyzstan's investment attractiveness in Central Asia.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on further interaction and joint development of promising areas of cooperation, including creating conditions for long-term Japanese investment in the Kyrgyz economy.
