Bishkek, Aug. 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Zhogorku Kenesh Deputy Gulzhan Satieva met JICA representative Morooko Takaaki, where the parties held talks on plans to further develop the system of providing medical care and rehabilitation for children with special needs in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the parliament's press service, the parties discussed opportunities to improve rehabilitation services for children with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, as well as attracting qualified specialists and implementing international experience with the support of JICA.
Representatives of the Children's Rehabilitation Center of the Moskovsky district of Chui region also participated in the discussion, presenting their proposals for improving the quality of care for children with special needs.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of developing an accessible and effective system of medical and rehabilitation support for children in Kyrgyzstan.
