Kyrgyzstan, KOICA discuss post-harvest management system

Bishkek, July 20, 2026. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan held a meeting with representatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the implementers of the project "Strengthening the Agricultural Value Chain by Supporting the Establishment of a Post-Harvest Management System in Kyrgyz Republic."

Representatives of the Department of Processing Industry and Organic Agriculture, as well as Kyrgyz Agroholding OJSC, participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current stage of project implementation, the results achieved, pressing issues and potential risks arising during the process, and measures to address them in a timely manner.

Project representatives presented information on future stages of implementation and briefed the participants on the plan for upcoming activities, key areas of work, and expected results.

Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their interest in continuing cooperation and expressed their readiness for further joint work aimed at developing a post-harvest management system and strengthening the agricultural value chain in Kyrgyzstan.
