Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2026. /Kabar/. The children of Kyrgyzstan must be prepared for the world of 2038; therefore, the education system must take into account the development of artificial intelligence, the emergence of new professions, and technological changes. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, announced at the opening ceremony of 20 new secondary and preschool educational institutions on October 6 .

According to him, children today quickly master artificial intelligence, programming, and robotics. What seems new today becomes commonplace for them.

"A child entering the first grade today will graduate from school in 12 years. That will be 2038. What will the world be like then? What level will artificial intelligence have reached? How many new professions, ones we don't even know about today will emerge? How much closer will space be? That is precisely why we must prepare our children for the future with confidence and without hesitation. The true result of today's reforms will be seen at that time," noted Adylbek Kasymaliev.

The head of the Cabinet also announced that the Kyrgyz president has allocated 8.5 billion soms to address the issue of textbooks, and that their content will be revised and strengthened.

It is worth noting that today, 20 new facilities—17 schools and 3 kindergartens opened their doors to children across the country. The new educational institutions were built in the cities of Bishkek, Manas, and Osh, as well as in the Nooken, Ton, Alay, and Aitmatov districts.

Specifically, 10 schools were commissioned in the capital.
