Bishkek, July 24, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Mirbek Mambetaliev met with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation between OTS member states.
Particular attention was paid to joint initiatives aimed at preserving, popularizing, and promoting the shared cultural and historical heritage of the Turkic peoples internationally.
Key topics of discussion included programs for upcoming cultural forums, festivals, and congresses, the digitalization of historical and cultural heritage sites, the creation of unified museum and library platforms, and strengthening cooperation between the scientific and cultural institutions of OTS member countries.
Mirbek Mambetaliev noted the important role of the UTC Secretariat in strengthening fraternal ties between states and promoting the shared cultural and civilizational values of the Turkic world.
In turn, Kubanychbek Omuraliev expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for its active participation and significant contribution to the implementation of the Organization's strategic initiatives aimed at developing cultural cooperation and strengthening the unity of the Turkic states.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further expand cooperation and agreed on practical steps to implement joint projects in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
