Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan strengthen cooperation in drug regulation

Bishkek, July 7, 2026. /Kabar/. Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan and the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) signed memorandum of understanding.

According to the Ministry of Health, the signing took place during the state visit of the President of Pakistan.

The document aims to develop bilateral cooperation in the regulation of drugs and medical devices, exchange regulatory information and experience, strengthen pharmacovigilance, develop human resources, conduct joint training events, and collaborate in the inspection and quality assurance of medical products in accordance with international standards.

It is noted that the signing of the memorandum will be an important step in developing the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the healthcare sector and will contribute to improving the drug regulatory system in the interests of the populations of both countries.
