Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2026. /Kabar/. As of August 19, 1,208 km of roads have been paved in Kyrgyzstan, Ministry of Transport and Communications reports. By comparison, 597 km of roads were paved during the same period last year.
Road construction and repair work is currently continuing at a rapid pace in all regions of the country.
The ministry notes that the development of road infrastructure contributes to increased traffic, strengthens ties between regions, and creates new opportunities for economic development.
